Contained Within a Case

A metaphor of travel time and life’s baggage this work has been inspired by French artist Marcel Duchamp’s “ La Boile en – valise”(box in a suitcase)

“Duchamp was influenced by the idea that ordinary, mass-produced things could be considered as art objects in their own right.”

Along with Duchamp’s influence and my passion and connection with old, rusty, and found objects this new collection has evolved.
